Mass Pokemon outbreaks happen in the world of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. This is when a lot of the same Pokemon appear in a small area. Until the outbreak event is over, that same Pokemon will keep appearing.
In the world of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, there are a lot of big events that happen all the time. Even if you don’t go to them, new ones appear and old ones go away. Only one specific Pokemon spawns as part of a mass epidemic; however, regular Pokemon that spawn in the region where the outbreak occurs can spawn normally. They are simply unaffected by the outbreak’s greatly elevated spawn rate.
In a large Pokemon outbreak, up to 100 of the Pokemon involved can spawn. The mass Pokemon outbreak function is primarily used for two purposes:
- farming certain goods
- shiny hunting
It is simple to farm an item. Simply keep fighting the Pokemon in let’s go mode. Shiny hunting is nearly identical. Continue to beat the Pokemon in Let’s Go mode, but keep a lookout for a shiny, since you’ll need to initiate a normal fight against it to catch it. How to Find Mass Pokemon outbreaks
In Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, press “Y” to open the map and look for Pokemon with a flashing red creature symbol behind them. This means that there is a lot of Pokemon spawning over there because of the mass breakout.
If there is a huge Pokemon breakout of a Pokemon you have not yet discovered, you will see a flashing creature icon on the map, but there will be no Pokemon on top of it. When you see a mass outbreak of a Pokemon you want to farm or shiny hunt on the map, fly to a nearby location and go the rest of the way there. You’ll be confronted with a swarm of Pokemon that are mass breaking out when you arrive at the mass breakout.
