New AMD Ryzen CPUs And Prices Leak Prior to CES 2023

A number of brand-new AMD Ryzen CPUs were set to be shown off in full at the CES 2023 convention in January. But because of a leak on VideoCardz.com, the three CPUs have been revealed before they were supposed to, revealing their specs and prices.

The CEO of AMD would have taken the stage at the “Consumer Electronics Show” to show off the brand-new line of 7000-series Ryzen CPUs, but it seems like everyone already knows everything they need to know about them.

The new AMD Ryzen 7000 series CPUs are reportedly more energy efficient than their predecessors, yet they still boast impressive performance without breaking the bank. It was rather predictable that three AMD Ryzen CPUs would be at the center of this leak, and that expectation was confirmed once the breach began to spread.

Based on what VideoCardz.com‘s leak says, it looks like you’ll be able to buy this hardware on January 10, 2023. Even though they use a lot less power, this “non-X” series of CPUs is a lot faster than similar AMD processors.

VideoCardz.com said that, for example, the AMD 7900 will be 19% faster (on average) at gaming than the Ryzen 8 5900X. In tests, the 65W Ryzen 9 7900 had no trouble getting average frame rates of 603.6 in CSGO and 270.9 in Fortnite.
