Roosky Plays... Dracula: Origin

Sometime back in my developmental video game years, I happened upon a copy of Sierra's Quest for Glory I: So You Want to Be a Hero. If you're familiar with the other Sierra * Quest games, it's in a similar vein. The version I happened to play was a second release with updated VGA graphics and sound that came out in 1992, and I instantly fell in love. I still have the hero's theme as my cell ringtone to this day.

I have a bit of a soft spot for point-and-click adventures. Dracula: Origin is a game in this genre, developed by Frogwares in 2008, in which the player takes the role of Van Helsing as he tries to unravel the mystery of Dracula's origin and save his associates. It received fairly good reviews when it was released, although it is six years old now and was definitely not a big budget title. The main story seems to be fairly short, between 6 and 7 hours.

Main story completion is the goal. Let's play!
